Early Spring is the Best Time to Schedule School Check-ups & Sports Physicals!

Pediatric offices book up quickly because of the increased demand for school, sports and camp physicals, so please take a moment to make sure your child has had a check-up in the past twelve months. If you want a check-up during that time of year, please call 2-3 months in advance.

Appointments

We see all our patients on an appointment basis and ask that you call in advance so that we may reserve time for you. Please notify us in advance if you wish to add a sibling to the schedule.

We try to see all patients on time, and request you extend the same courtesy to us.

Certain vaccines, like Influenza, only require a nurse appointment. Contact us to learn more.

If you cannot keep an appointment, please call the office to notify us immediately so we can give this time to another patient. Failure to do so will result in a $50 for well visits and $25 for sick visits charge.

PLEASE REMEMBER TO BRING YOUR INSURANCE CARD TO EVERY VISIT.

Telephone Calls

We encourage you to call with whatever questions you may have regarding your child's health care problems during our daily call-in time: Monday-Friday: 8:30am to 9:00am. At this time, one of the doctors will be available to answer your questions.

If you have routine questions or you are in need of advice about your sick child after call-in time, our nurses are trained to answer many of your questions. If they are unsure, they will consult with the physician or have a doctor call you back later.

If you need to speak with the doctors about more complex problems, please call after 9:00am and leave a message. The doctors will return your call during lunchtime or at the end of the day.

We know there are times you would like to have an extended (>5 minutes) discussion with us but we don't need to see your child. We are willing to make appointments for a telephone visit. Please note there is a charge for these visits. Please check your insurance about coverage.

Portal Communication

Our electronic medical record has a secure messaging system/portal; we encourage all patients to sign up. Please ask the front desk staff for a temporary password. Once you have portal access you will be able to:

  1. View Visit Summary, and Medications
  2. View Labs, Immmunization records and Growth Chart
  3. Request non-urgent appointments and on a limited basis make sick appointments for the next or same business day. (Remember it is still ok to call and talk to a real person to make appointments.)
  4. Send a non-urgent message to the doctor, request a referral, ask a billing question or communicate with the front desk. These messages are reviewed daily Monday-Friday. You will get our attention faster by phone.
  5. Fill out and update (change of insurance, address, phone, etc..) our registration forms.
